Podcasts and Commission of Investigation

As we now approach November and while the survivors of mother & baby homes wait patiently for the Commission of Investigation sixth Interim report, (Any day now) I thought I would do a little update.
As you know this last month has been not only very tense but stressful for the survivors and supporters, there has been much debate in the Dail and Sanead regarding the yes or no to the sealing of the records.
On top of all this we are still in this Covid-19 situation and there are lockdowns taking place everywhere, but I hear that they are contemplating another full scale national lockdown?.
This is really the last thing we need especially on the run up to Christmas, many people are locked in their homes and really suffering, I hope that everyone can extend a hand in helping others, especially the elderly, even if it’s just a friendly ear on the other end of the phone, it’s something.
Obviously with everything that has been going on I had postponed podcasts that were planned, due to not being able to travel with restrictions.
So, around the middle to the end of Nov podcasts will be happening and as I mentioned before these will be both pre-recorded and live, I will be kicking them off on the subject that is most prominent right now and that’s mother and baby homes, by the time we are ready to go live the survivors will have had time to digest the sixth interim report.
I suppose the good thing to come out of lockdown certainly from my perspective is that I now don’t need to leave the comfort of my own home, instead I am actually in the process of redecorating my new office. (More on this next week) So for the foreseeable, podcasts will be from the office.
There are a number of people waiting to discuss what the report means for them as well as other related matters, so I would like you to get in touch with me as soon as possible, I have to schedule which podcasts are happening and when as well as who the guests/speakers are.
